Lauren Chamblin Faced Rejection From Matt Barnett On Love Is Blind

In her mid-twenties, then-single Lauren Camblin agreed to do Love Is Blind, a dating reality show streamed by Netflix in February 2020. A show where single men and women find their potent partner based on their emotional attachment. Basically, men and women communicate on blind dates through a pod's walls without being able to see what the other person physically looks like.

And, speaking of Chamblin, she built a closer connection with one of the men aka Matt Barnett. But, poor Chamblin, she had no idea, she was stuck up in a love triangle where Barnett also had feelings for two other women. Not to mention, the engineer was, in fact, struggling to choose the woman he severely liked.

Less than half a month of her whirlwind romance with Barnett, it was finally the time for the engagement. The man and woman who found their potent future partner needed to step up and confess their feelings and finally get engaged. As the fans watched, Lauren was all excited to get to the decision, only to be disappointed at the end.

Long story short, Barnett who also had feelings for Jessica Batten and Amber Pike rejected Chamblin. Barnett eventually chose Pike whom he even got married to. And, with such disappointment, Chamblin even broke down in tears in front of the camera on the one on one interview. In tears, Lauren said:

"Why the f*** do guys not ever feel that sure about me? Ever? It’s not just here. I feel like they’re always scared and run. I don’t know what I’m doing to do that. Or am I just like, an unlovable person, which I don’t think I am. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong."

Lauren then left the show with a void in her heart whilst the man he fell in love with jetted off to Mexico with another woman to celebrate their honeymoon. Lauren, however, is still in on great terms with not only Barnett but his wife, Pike too. But, fans are convinced that it was actually the men's loss for rejecting Lauren.

No Hard Feelings With Love Is Blind Contestants

Shockingly, Lauren is still in contact with her fellow Love Is Blind contestants; Lauren Speed, Cameron Hamilton, Mark Cuevas, Kelly Chase, Damian Powers, Giannina Gebelli, Diamond Jack, and Carlton Morton. Not to mention, she maintains a great relationship with them too. In February 2020, before Netflix began airing Love Is Blind, Lauren hosted a premiere party and invited all casts of the show.

To our surprise, everyone including, Barnett and Pike were in attendance too. Taking to Instagram, Lauren shared all the reunion pictures and said in the caption:

"Doing a show like this was hard and it’s really scary to be be yourself and be so vulnerable in such a public way like this. I am in awe of my fellow cast members and can’t wait to watch the rest of their journeys. Couldn’t have asked for a better."

In one of the pictures, Chamblin even can be seen alongside Pike as both women looked happy to be posing together. Besides, it also seems as Lauren also shares a great relationship with fellow contestants Kenny Barnes who partnered up with Chase. Lauren previously attended an event of Brawl For A Cause where Kenny was one of the fundraisers.

It seems as Lauren Chamblin holds quite an experience in the commerce sector. Soon after finishing college in 2014, Lauren started working at Lincoln Property Company with the position of Leasing and Marketing Professional for a year and nine months from August 2015 till April 2017.

After leaving Lincoln, Chamblin quickly began her service at Matrix Residential, a Pollack Shores Company as a Marketing Representative for a year from April 2017 till March 2018. Then, Lauren was hired at VocoVision where she took the position of National Account Executive And Recruiter from March 2018 till Jan 2019.

Currently, Chamblin has been involved as Account Manager at The Creative Group since Jan 2019, according to Chamblin's LinkedIn profile. And, although Netflix didn't pay Lauren for her appearance on Love Is Blind, she can be still estimated to have made more than $50,000 to date.
